Permits for Whitewater Rafting on the California Salmon

Whitewater Rafting permits are not required for rafting on the Cal-Salmon if you are a non-commercial private boater. However, commercial whitewater rafting companies are required to obtain licenses through the state and other governing agencies to operate commercial whitewater rafting trips .
